I have carried a folding knife on my person most everyday for the past half-decade or so. I find it comes in handy most every day. I currently carry an Applegate-Fairbairn folder by Gerber. It consists of a half straight and half serrated blade, opens with one hand and is fits the hand delightfully. This particular blade was originally designed as a fighting knife but I’m more of a lover so I only really fight cardboard boxes and rope with it.
